ABOUT FOUR DOORS SERVICES

OUR STORY

At Four Doors Services, everything we do is grounded in one simple belief - people deserve the right support, the right opportunities, and the chance to build a life that feels meaningful to them.

For Daniel and Courtney, this isn’t just a philosophy. It’s something they’ve lived, experienced, and committed their lives to.

Where It Started

Daniel has spent over two decades working across the disability, employment, and allied health sectors, holding a range of senior leadership roles. Over that time, he saw firsthand what works - and what doesn’t.

Too often, supports were transactional. Systems were rigid. And people were expected to fit into services, rather than services being built around people.

Daniel knew there had to be a better way.

Courtney’s journey followed a similar path. As a highly respected social worker and counsellor, she worked extensively across both government and non-government sectors, supporting individuals and families through complex challenges. She saw the same gaps. People needing more than just a service - they needed understanding, advocacy, structure, and someone who genuinely believed in their capacity to move forward.

Building Something Different

Together, Daniel and Courtney set out to create something that reflected their shared values. Not just another provider - but a service that genuinely puts people first.

A service that balances heart and structure.

A service that understands that real outcomes come from consistency, relationships, and doing the small things well - over and over again.

That’s how Four Doors Services was built.

Strength in Experience

Daniel brings the big-picture thinking - years of leadership experience, a deep understanding of systems, and a strong focus on creating pathways into employment, independence, and community participation. His role as a Councillor with Cessnock City Council further reflects his commitment to strengthening the local community and creating opportunities for people to thrive.

Courtney brings the depth - strong clinical understanding, counselling experience, and a genuine ability to connect with people where they’re at. Alongside this, she leads with strength in administration and governance, ensuring that everything behind the scenes is structured, compliant, and sustainable.

As a proud First Nations woman of Gumbaynggirr and Dunghutti heritage, Courtney also brings cultural knowledge, perspective, and a deep commitment to inclusive, respectful, and community-led practice.

Together, they bring a balance that is intentional - and essential.

More Than a Service

Outside of their professional roles, Daniel and Courtney have spent years investing in their community. They have helped establish and manage charitable organisations supporting disadvantaged individuals and families, always driven by a desire to create practical, meaningful change.

They are also parents to five children - an experience that continues to shape how they see the world, the importance of support, and the value of creating opportunities for others.

Because at the end of the day, this work is personal.

What Drives Us

Four Doors Services exists to open opportunities.

To support people in building confidence, independence, and real-life skills.

To walk alongside individuals - not just as a provider, but as a consistent, reliable support system.

And to create environments where people feel safe, valued, and capable.

Because when the right support is in place, everything changes.
